extends the duty of care to Senior Officers of organisations...
Fines can now be as high as $920,250.00 for Corporations, and
$184,050 for Individuals !
Everybody
at a 'Workplace' ...
has obligations under the OH & S Act and Regulations,
it is your responsiblity to ensure you have
met your obligations as require by law.
Employers,
Managers, Supervisors and Employees...
can all be fined or jailed for failing to meet obligations under
the OH & S Act and Regulations, 'I didn't know'
is not a defense and will almost certainly cost your business
$$$.
